After watching the interview with David Laibson, I am curious how he thinks we can encourage society to take action against climate change. In the beginning of the interview, he mentions that there is more psychological weight for things that happen immediately compared to things that happen in the future. How can one modify these psychological weights to prevent procrastination? How does the mentality that "scientists will come up for a solution to climate change" or "climate change predictions are false" impact these psychological weights?
