An unasked question that I would ask about is if there is psychological justification for why some people don't care about the future for example nihilism, and is something like this inherently bad? I would ask this question because I'm curious about understanding these psychological underpinnings could offer insights into how individuals' views on the future affect their decision-making and life satisfaction. Moreover, it could shed light on how these personal outlooks collectively influence societal norms and future-oriented policies. For some people that don't live in the first world nihilism is more understandable so at a broader view is the ability to make a prediction a luxury?
