I found it suprising how optimistic Tarter was on the human-robot partnership. Professor Goodman clarified whether Tarter was trying to suggest that in the future humans stay on Earth and try to operate robots but Tarter said that humans would go to space and have robot partners. I don't know very much about this topic but I found it suprising how passionately Tarter felt about an improbable scenario of this human-robot partnership in space exploration. In the talk, Tater even volunteered going on the journey.
If I had conducted the interview, I would've inquired further into the space exploration topic. Why is the human-robot partnership in space worth society pursuing? It's obviously a fascinating idea and concept but there are many potential complications and it would be interesting to hear Tarter's perspective on how she thinks it would work.

That is interesting! With our modern versions of robots, it is hard to imagine anything as durable as human-robot space travel. I also feel like people are so paranoid about robots taking control over people, but it seems like there is not a grounds for that. We are creating AI to help us, and there is no reason why something sinthetic would have interests of its own. That's a bit of a tangent, but your post made me think of it.
